Christopher Wormeley


Christopher Wormeley lf Adwick-le-Street in Yorkshire, was Governor of Tortuga between 1632 and 1635, The family descends from Sir John de Wormele of Hadfield of Yorkshire. Ralph, brother of Christopher, inherited the large estate, as well as "Rosegill" on the Rappahannock River in Virginia. The Wormeley wills of Middlesex County, Virginia are on Virginia Pioneers
