Berkeley Hundred

Berkeley Hundred in Virginia was initially comprised of over 80,000 acres. It was a patent granted to seven well-known London merchants. Several names were: William Tucker, Maurice Thompson and Cornelius Loyd, all who went to Virginia in search of their fortunes. The Tucker genealogy is available to members of Virginia Pioneers
