King Carter

Robert Carter known as "King Carter" was speaker of the Virginia House of Burgesses from 1696-1697 and the colonial Governor of Virginia (1726-1727). He died in Lancaster County in 1732. "Find your Ancestors on Virginia Pioneers.net"
