The Wynne's of Canterbury

St. George's Tower in Canterbury

The Wynne families of Virginia descend from Robert Wynne, Mayor of Canterbury.  The migration occurred with Colonel Robert Wynne who came to Charles City County, Virginia where he died in 1675 and was buried at Jordan's Parish Church.  The genealogy is traced to 1500s and is available to members of Virginia Pioneers
