Berkeley Hundred

There were 35 persons who came to Virginia in 1619 with the intention of settling at Berkeley on the James River (today's Harrison's Landing) however only three names were entered as Gentlemen in the certificate which he Governor was required by law to draw up to show their arrival in the colony.
