Kenmore, the home of Fielding Lewis
Kenmore was built in 1775 by Fielding Lewis and his wife, Betty, The sister of George Washington. Lewis lost his fortune when he became a patriot of the cause of freedom, but the house which he built remains intact. The elegant exterior is displays colorful paint and wallpaper; also decorative plaster ceilings. This Georgian-style house contains is worth seeing again and again. If you have never visited this site, you will be surprised at its unique preservation.
